Dana is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a deep passion for helping others heal and grow. She is committed to empowering individuals by building on their existing strengths and fostering resilience. With a person-centered approach, she meets clients where they are and provides a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore and navigate life’s challenges.
Dana holds a Master’s Degree and an Educational Specialist Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She has specialized training in trauma therapy, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Brainspotting, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and is a Seed Digging Professional (SDP). She is also a Licensed Professional School Counselor and has previously worked as a School Counselor, working with Kindergarten through 12th grade students. Her clinical experience spans various settings, including outpatient programs, community mental health, crisis intervention, school-based mental health, and private practice.
Dana works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
